Hello everyone!

We are now done with our first whole week in school. The students seem to be enjoying it. This week we have worked with Days of the week, Months of the year, the 4 seasons and numbers. This week’s idea was to acquaint the students to the different areas of work in school. Apart from that, we also started work in the ME book- a book about the child- one of a kind. :)

We are beginning with Letter of the week  as from next week too. Everyone is required to bring something starting with the letter A on Monday already.

Another ongoing project for the whole term or even the whole year would be the Class Mascot- Fluffy! Already a much loved little soft toy, Fluffy will be going home with someone on Friday and needs to come back on Monday. What’s to be done, considered and written is all mentioned in the attachment.

This week-end, Fluffy will visit Ava!

There are now 25 students in the class. We welcomed Axel to FB today.

 The students had their first gym lesson today. Just to brush up, every Friday we will have Gym with the students between 11.20- 12.20. In their gym bag there should be gym clothes, a towel, gym shoes and a water bottle.

Next week:

Monday- We have Monday morning meetings and the whole staff attends it between 08.00- 09.00. We request you to try to bring your child to school at 09.00 on Mondays. If you do not have that possibility, you can drop your child to the classroom after 08.15 or to morning fritids ( in the big building) before 08.15. In any case please leave a filled form about Monday morning if you haven’t already done that.

One of us should be in the classroom on Monday morning.

 We also invite you to the Parents’ Meeting on Monday at 18.00. This meeting is only for the adults.

Bring something starting with letter A.

Wednesday- All the classes except for the preschool classes will participate in Hagaloppet in Hagapark. We in preschool classes, will not be going to Hagapark. It is an opportunity to have the whole school to ourselves! This is a great chance for the children to explore the whole school and get to know the children from the Swedish classes better..

You do not need any packed lunch!

Friday- Gym

Week 37 we will be inviting parents to an Introduction talk. This talk will be between a teacher and parents. We look upon it as a n opportunity to hear from you about your child. This is also a great time to ask us if you have questions about your child. This will be a 15 minute meeting and you will be given out a slot next week.
