Newsletter week 38- 15th - 19th September

This week was the letter "c" with objects like a carrot, crayons, cars, a cork, clocks, Cookie Monster, a candle, a cow, a cup, a coca cola bottle, capers and a coffee capsule in our Alphabet Corner. 

For mathematics, the children worked with sorting. They had to sort objects into as many different categories as they could. It was interesting to listen to how the children sorted : color, size, shape...what else?

We have also tried sorting outdoors. The children were divided into groups. Every child had to pick 10 things from the environment. Then together in their groups the children sorted their objects. They came up with sorting according to what the thing was, color sorting, shape sorting, size sorting. Fun!

The title for their "me book" this week was my family. Lovely drawings!

With iPads, the children have had to insert the word "he" into their "ghost writing". He is also a sight word we are working with in our story.
