This week was the letter "d". We had a duck, a dolphin, a dollar, dogs, dough, dragons, a dinosaur, a dinosaur egg, a doll, a die, a devil key holder, a diamond and darth Vader in our Alphabet Corner. The children practiced writing the letter"d" . It can be a little confusing because capital "D" faces one way and the lower case "d" faces the other way. It takes time for children not to mix up "b" and "d".
We had the very inspiring visit of Gary (Ruben's dad) who read a couple of the books he had written to the class.
The children have practiced writing the word "in" on the I-pads. That is the word they are to train with the class story which is really coming along .
A little cleaning out of the drawers today and then gym was a good way to end the week.
Have a great week end!
Next week
- Monday : letter "e"
- Thursday 2 nd October : class photo at 9.00. Please be here by 8.45 at the latest.
