Newsletter week 37

This week was the letter "b". What a lot of objects we have in our alphabet corner! From the Barbie dolls with bags and bracelets to bears, boxes, balloons and much more. It is not uncommon at this stage for "b" to be confused with "d", so do not worry if your child mixes them up.

This week, the children also got math workbooks which they will be using regularly. They were very excited by the workbooks and everyone meticulously did their exercises. The first pages deal with number recognition and identification: three- 3.

Mandalas are a way of working with fine motor skills. The children have done beautiful work, won't you agree??

One of our projects is working on a "me book". Last week the children started by doing a self portrait- this is me! They finished up the work this week. This is an interesting project for the children. They have a lot to say/show on themselves.

It has been a good week. The pre-school class is all about socially settling in and getting used to the school environment. The children are making new friends and radiate their enthusiasm. 😊

Have a good week-end

Next week
- "C" objects on Monday.

In 2 weeks
- APT - staff meeting for the whole school on Tuesday, the 23rd of September. Kindly pick your child up before 16.00. Thankyou.
